about Kathryn

Kathryn Davis is the founder and lead designer of Kathryn Davis Interiors, a full-service residential interior design firm based in Connecticut. Her design approach marries traditional aesthetics with contemporary accents, creating spaces that are warm, thoughtful and rich with color, pattern and texture.

Kathryn spent the first ten years of her career working for two major retail companies, including Bloomingdale’s, where she honed her skills in textiles, business development, and online marketing. In 2021, she graduated from Parsons with a degree in interior design and a dream of one day starting her own firm. Before setting out on her own, Kathryn worked for the prestigious interior design firm, Brittany Bromley Interiors, serving high-end clients across the country.  

Kathryn has always had a natural ability to envision the potential in any space. With a keen eye for space planning and developing cohesive color schemes, nothing brings her more joy than bringing a vision to life. Her passion for design began at a young age, styling vignettes at a local interior design shop in her hometown. After purchasing her first home—a 1920s colonial in the heart of New Canaan, CT—Kathryn managed the full remodel, restoration and design herself. This experience not only fortified her passion, but also gave her the conviction to set out on her own. Now, more excited than ever, Kathryn is eager to share her love for design with you and your home.
